This tool is used for documenting bike parking availability and usage within one block of a counterpoint.

INSTRUCTIONS: You will count two things: 1. The number of BIKE PARKING SPOTS currently available on this block. 2. The number of BICYCLES currently parked on this block. IMPORTANT: Count the number of SPOTS, not the bike racks themselves. For example, the traditional “U-shaped” rack should be documented as 2 “spots”, a large bike rack  that fits 10 bikes should be documented as 10 “spots”. DO NOT count informal parking spots (ie. a signal pole, trees, fences, etc..)
